Hi, my name is Devlin, and I'm a gorgeous, black, male GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from a shelter where I was surrendered by my former owner. I came from a setting with several other dogs and my former owners didn't socialize me with people, so it takes me some time to warm up. I've been living in a foster home with some other dogs and cats, and I enjoy their company, but I'm still learning to trust my foster parents. I will need an extremely patient adopter who will allow me to warm up on my timeline rather than theirs. I would benefit from having a canine companion as well. I am house-trained but I don't care for being crated.  A home without small children would be best.
