Hi, my name is Stella Artois, a beautiful, approximately three year old GSD momma who was found with my two adorable babies Heineken and Corona, wandering around with nobody to care for us. Thankfully, a kind soul noticed that we needed help and took all of us to a vet where we could receive proper care. The vet did some tests and discovered that I am heartworm positive, so treatment was started right away. All of us were then transported to FRGSR and placed in a foster home. My foster mom made sure I received regular meals and provided me with a soft bed to sleep on while I nursed my babies. They've reached the age where they have been weaned and now we're all ready to find our forever homes. The rescue will pay for my heartworm treatment, which will be completed by the end of June. I'm a happy, friendly girl who's housetrained, crate trained, and I have done well with other dogs. My foster mom thinks I'll do better with a canine companion as opposed to being an only dog.
