Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion.
A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known.

Date into Rescue: 04/03/25
Reason for being in rescue: Bradley was found as a stray. When the good people who found him tried to clean up his horribly matted coat, they sliced his ear. They took him to Urgent Vet Spartanburg and from UV, they signed him over and he was transferred to CPR.
Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC
Special Needs? Bradley is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 04/07/25 Bradley had his ears deep cleaned.
Weight: 45 lbs
Height: 24 in
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Adoption Fee: $599
Fence needed? Yes, Bradley is a big boy and needs a yard with a fence four (4) feet tall or taller.
What kind of home would be best for me? Bradley will do best with an adopter who leads an active lifestyle and can offer him plenty of playtime and attention. He’s not particular about whether it’s a single person, couple, or family—as long as there's love, he's in!.
Due to his size, Bradley is best suited for a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs. Bradley would love to join you on walks, hikes, trips to the dog park, or any adventures you have planned. And if you’re stopping for a treat, he’d happily take a pup cup as the perfect end to the day!
Bradley is learning to socialize with other dogs and is doing well meeting new canine friends. While he'd be happy as an only dog, he’d also benefit from having a confident dog buddy to help show him the ropes. Because of his energy level, we don’t recommend a home with cats, as he may be a bit too much for them.
What is my personality like? Meet Bradley, your new best friend! Are you looking for a joyful, playful, and energetic companion - look no further—Bradley is your guy! Bradley was found as a stray. When the good people who found him tried to clean up his horribly matted coat, they sliced his ear. They took him to Urgent Vet Spartanburg and from UV, they signed him over and he was transferred to CPR.
While Bradley is outgoing and curious, many everyday experiences are still new to him. He walks on a leash but would benefit from some refresher training. He’s also still learning basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “down.” With positive reinforcement—especially treats and praise—Bradley is eager to learn and please. Training and daily exercise will help build his confidence and deepen your bond between you and your new best friend.
If you have the time, energy, and patience to help this sweet boy continue his journey, Bradley will reward you with endless love and loyalty. He’s more than ready to be someone’s best friend for life!
How do I act when I first meet new people? Energetic, playful, and affectionate, Bradley is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever he goes. He’s friendly with everyone he meets and is always ready to make new friends.
Other tips and tidbits: Bradley was found as a stray so we have absolutely no history on him. Based on his overall health and condition, he is estimated at 18 months old. We celebrate his birthday 10/3/23.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
