If you have the good fortune to meet Gypsy, you will fall in love with her sweet temper and high spirits. Gypsy is a beautiful Black Labrador/ Mixed Breed 1 year old bundle of fun who is more than ready to become the best part of a forever home and family.
Labradors are fabulous family members due to their gentle temperaments and easy-going personalities, and Gypsy is no exception. Gypsy is 80 pounds and since she has some growing left, it is likely she will be a very large dog when she is fully grown. She has a puppy zest for new adventures and is eager to make new friends everywhere she goes. Gypsy adores making new dog friends and hanging out with children. It is not known currently whether she enjoys hanging with cats.
Gypsy is working on her house, leash and crate training. Labradors are often very treat motivated so yummy rewards combined with positive consistent lessons will encourage her to mind her manners. Rescue dogs can have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, new family and new routines. If crate training is planned, Gypsy requires a crate that is big enough for her to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out and must never be used for punishment. Living and loving large, getting belly rubs and exploring all the world can offer her will make Gypsy the happiest girl in the world when she gets to join her forever home and family.
*When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.
The adoption fee for Gypsy is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees.
