Meet Mateo, a super handsome GSD with an estimated DOB of 4/10/22 who was transferred to FRGSR from a shelter where he was surrendered because he found the resident chickens to be more tasty treats than the store-bought kind. The shelter described him as follows:

Mateo is a stunning, three year old GSD with a huge smile, huge ears and an even bigger heart! Weighing in at 69 lbs, this handsome boy is the total package - sweet, smart and so ready for a forever home (without chickens) to call his own.

Mateo is neutered, he walks beautifully on leash and is quiet and calm in his kennel. He's an all-around great boy who lives people and gets along well with other dogs. Whether he's out making new friends or simply soaking up some affection, Mateo is a true social star with a gentle soul and loyal heart.
