Meet Honey!

Honey is a sweet, sensitive pup who approaches the world with a bit of caution—but once she feels comfortable, her playful and affectionate personality blossoms! She might start off a little unsure, especially when meeting new people, dogs, or kiddos, but give her a moment (and maybe a treat or two), and you’ll have a loyal, loving companion for life. 

Honey loves chew toys, bones, and any kind of treat you’re willing to share. She enjoys the company of other dogs and, once she feels secure, is happy to join in the fun. She’s very curious about cats, though her playful chase instinct may be a bit much for feline friends—so a cat-free home or a dog-savvy cat would be best.

She’s house-trained, does well when left alone for short stretches, and is picking up on leash manners and boundaries like a pro. With gentle guidance and a patient, loving home, Honey will thrive and return your kindness tenfold.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails).

If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. 

The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following:

Spay/neuter

Microchip

DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. 

Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.

Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption.
