    Meet Danny!

Danny was born to mama Luci, who arrived with us heavily pregnant with 6 puppies. She safely gave birth to them but sadly developed mastitis soon after birth so all puppies had to be bottle fed around the clock until Luci felt better. After about two weeks Luci was able to go back to feeding her pups and they have grown healthy and strong. The pups were born on April 28 and are almost ready to go to their forever homes.

They are gorgeous little ones and we were curious to know their exact mix. A DNA test showed they are mostly Pomeranian and Chihuahua but there are many other breeds mixed in also. The pups are very tiny - about the size of a human hand - and will remain small as adults. They are delicate and fragile at this age. It is our strong preference to place these pups with applicants who have experience with small breeds and who have no children under 8 in the home.

All of the pups have been well socialized but of course this work will need to continue. Puppies need proper training and socializing to help prevent behavioral issues as they grown into adult dogs. We provide an only socialization class, free of charge, to all adopters.

The pups have received their first round of vaccinations and have ben dewormed. They are too tiny to microchip at this time or to be spayed/neutered. This will be done when they are a bit older, at our cost. Spay and neuter is not optional and part of our adoption contract.

You can submit an application via our website savinggreatanimals.org. The adoption fee is $595

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
