Izzy is a pack animal and likes to be around people, cats, and dogs. She has a passive and initially shy personality, but once she warms up, she loves to have fun and play. Izzy likes her daily walks, but loves the dog park where she can show off her speed; she could take on a greyhound! Like a greyhound, while fast "on the track", she prefers to lounge around the house. She is neither rambunctious or excitable, but still playful, but never a jumper.

 

Izzy loves the sun and will lie in her favorite spot in the yard all afternoon. She is a big fan of her "dental treats" and will never turn down a dog biscuit. We just had her annual vet appointment and she is fit as a fiddle. She is a medium-sized dog at approximately 40 pounds. She is used to free reign in the house, and has never had an issue with her chewing furniture or digging in the trash. She does enjoy other animals and has lived with a cat most of her life. Izzy is gentle and wonderful with kids. She is always excited to see "her people", and her favorite spot is lounging with her foster family on the couch. She's make an amazing addition to a home that has the time to dedicate to a loving dog.
