Linus is about six years old, and is a deaf Catahoula Leopard Hound mix. He has been with us since four months of age. He gets along famously with other dogs, and is a little hunky guy. 

Linus is always happy, ready to romp and play, and would benefit from a family who likes to go for walks, hikes and integrate their dogs into the family. He's also a very affectionate and undemanding dog who never has a bad day.  

Linus is a graduate of Basic and Intermediate Obedience group classes.

Linus has one eye that doesn't close completely. It's a result, we think, of getting bitten on the head as a tiny pup. The muscle that controls his upper eyelid is frozen. He has no idea that he looks different or is deaf. And nobody shakes his Happy.

All applications are reviewed as quickly as we can, and our adoption process is not first come, first served. We select our adoptive homes according to what our dogs/puppies require. If you are selected as an appropriate match, you will be contacted to set an appointment to visit the Ranch and meet Linus.
