Hi, my name is Topaz and I am about 10 1/2 years old.  Me and my 2 litter mates were strays found in the window well of a house during a rain storm when we were about 8 weeks old.  The homeowner did not want us to drown and brought us to BCHS.  I have never been very sociable or outgoing as a kitten.  I usually hide when people enter the room.  I still am very shy and timid.  I need a person who will be patient with me and give me as much time as I need to acclimate to a new environment. Sometimes I prefer interacting with younger people instead of adults.
