    Attention experienced cat owners!

2 great male kitties who would be a great addition to the right home. Reece (4 years old) and Rudder (2 years old) are two very active, very playful, very curious cats who would do well with an experienced cat owner in a home with no small children

Reece: This orange boy loves to play and stare out of windows; he definitely has that kitty wild spirt within him and loves to pounce and hunt and play, especially with Rudder. He loves to headbutt you on your leg or on your face and he’ll come to you to see that attention.  He can get worked up though and that’s why he needs his brother Rudder who is equally as energetic.

Rudder is a ball of energy with bursts of manic cat energy that he needs to burn off with play, with another cat or human.  He’s very sweet and will come to you for attention and pets but he doesn’t have the longest temper, which means he’s quick to growl if something is amiss (for example, if you try to move him away from food he really wants to eat); but easy come, easy go and he’s back to being affectionate loving Rudder quickly.

These guys have been together for about 18 months and get along well. But, they are VERY rough players and every so often they will disappear into a cartoon ball of fur and teeth until one of them, usually Rudder, says he’s had enough.  This can lead to scrapes and they sometimes need space to get away from the other when they need a break.  But they’re always back to playing soon.

These 2 cats are available to be adopted as a bonded pair as well as for the Foster-To-Adopt program if you want time to see if they’re the right fit. Please contact us for details or to arrange a time to meet them. They love to meet new people!
