Buddy is a really sweet, calm collie who is about ten years old.  He was rescued from Missouri along with dogs from a puppy mill.  Buddy is well-mannered and loves to be around people.  He enjoys acoustic guitar music and relaxing for most of the day.  He definitely prefers a quiet household and prefers to be an indoor dog, although will enjoy sitting on the porch.  Loud noises do startle him, so he likes to have a place where he can curl up when they happen (like a big crate with a blanket over it, or a small space he can lay down in).  He successfully finished heartworm treatment, and takes medications for arthritis pain.  Due to his arthritis, he gets a bit stiff when laying down for a long time. He also requires a home with few steps. He should be the only dog in his new home, as he can be a bit snarky with other dogs.  Buddy is a sweet boy and is deserving of a wonderful forever home!  Since he is a senior boy, his adoption fee is $100.  If you can give a pup who just needs someone to love and care for him, please contact us.
