Hi, my name is Brownie.   I’m a well-mannered dog who would be an easy addition to your family.  I know quite a few tricks, including: paw, other paw, sit, lay, stay and stand. If a door is closed, I will knock on it to let you know that I want in, or out.   I’m open to snuggle time on furniture with people of all sizes, but if that isn’t allowed I’m perfectly content to lay on my dog bed—especially if it is near a window in the sunshine-- I do love to sunbathe!!  Playing fetch, helping un-stuff dog toys and walks in the brisk morning air are other favorites of mine.  I play well with my doggy friends, I’m house trained, crate trained, awesome with kids, around 7 years old, and a pretty chill dude.  I should also mention I LOVE CAR RIDES—I’ve been told I make a great co-pilot!

When I was first pulled from the shelter,  I was pretty sick and didn’t look so hot….but my foster family has given me lots of TLC and brought me back to good health. All I needed was love, a grain free diet and some medicine (allergy and hypo-thyroid medications).  Now I look and feel great!!   Giving me my medicine is no big deal, because I am a good sport about taking it (my foster family uses pill pockets so I think of them as yummy treats) and my medicine doesn’t cost much at all!

If you are looking for a well mannered, gentle giant to relax with and enjoy the little things in life, I may just be the right dog for you!
