    update 12/15/22

As of 11/20/22- Elle was 12 pounds and 7mo so she is going to be full grown in the 17-25lb range and more likely in the 16-20 pound range. Like dauschands she is "compact" and sturdy girl. Low to the ground ei low rider with her shorter legs and long sturdy body. She looks much smaller than she weighs. And she is a total puppy as well, she IS a puppy which means she is active and loved to play and run around especially off leash with her dog friends big and small. She is a large breed pup stuck in a small breed dog size ha ha
She loves chewing her toys and twigs and branches or leaves and will need an adopter who is interested in a puppy persona and not a sedentary adult as she is not even 8mo old yet. She is fantastic with all humans and dogs and enjoys cat friends, she may bark or chase in play mode unless he human makes sure she knows that's not acceptable as she loved her arwob foster kitty friends where she knows kitties aren't toys but playmates.

UPDATE 12/2/22 - Here is what Elle's new foster family has to say:
Elle has to be transferred back to the care of ARWOB because foster family had to travel. She boarded in kennel setting for 2 weeks 10/30-11/10 and the boarding facility has nothing but great things to say about her. Elle went back to casa de ARWOB where she has been enjoying the dog and cat friends she is fostered along with and doing wel in her crate. She LOVES to chew things like twiga and leaves outside in the yard or any of the puppy chewing sticks and of course loves to try get the squeak toy from stuffies. Elle adores small and large dogs alike and has no issues with either male or Female dogs they are all equal friends in her eyes :)

she is not a barky/yappy dog at all Towards dogs or people, she loves people coming to her home but it can take a second for her to first assess who the human is before she starts waggy tail greeting, she will first be very "neutral" and then warm and welcoming. She is great in car rides and she's the perfect mix or cuddly/lap dog as well as tomboy who can climb bolder, run, thumble and wrestle With the more active dogs. she is certainly  submissive personality when she enclunters dominant personalities.Elle is looking for a better Foster set up than casa de arwob and of course goal is forever adoptive family before the holidays arrive and has to spend her first Christmas at arwob. As of 12/2 she's 6mo 9 pounds prob won't be bigger than 10-12 pounds and is a healthy beautiful pup :)

UPDATE 8/31/22 - Here is what Elle's foster family has to say:

"Elle is currently fostered along with her brother Will and would be a great pair to adopt together although not a requirement. Elle is such a love bug and feisty girl too! She doesn't back down from a good wrestle with her friends. She is very curious about her surroundings and wants to investigate everything. She is good with other dogs and cats."

    ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

    Meet the 'Stranger Things' Family!

Mama Joyce and her little babies (2 girls and 5 boys): Elle, Maxine, Will, Mike, Lucas, Hopper and Dustin aka Dusty poo :)

They are currently 2 pounds and we expect that they will be their mom's size when full grown..12 lbs.  Mom looks like a small terrier/Dachshund/chihuahua mix and the pups are probably going to be the same small size. These pups are social with children, dogs and cats. Not house trained. Learning crate training.
