*Age: kitten, approximately 7 months as of 4/15/24
*Temperament: lap cat, friendly, sassy, sweet, playful, affectionate, purr monster, confident
*We suspect that Quincy would do well in a home with a friendly, "beta" kitty

Quincy was found trapped between two fence walls in Bed Stuy near the Bushwick border. At first, we thought she might be feral, but once she came inside, she relaxed and became a lap cat with an outsized purrsonality! You can see her adorable antics on Instagram at @goodhome_fancyfosters.

Quincy likes to be close to her human... she'll get right up next to you when you're working, eating, sleeping. And she loves kisses.

Quincy enjoys playing and sitting in the window. Occasionally, she'll chirp. She is also a sassy girl. She enjoys a small amount of light petting, then can get nippy. This bitey behaviour is easily avoided by watching body language (ears, tail, head).

Quincy would probably do best in a child-free home with a human who will respect her petting threshold. She's extremely loving but she learned to set strong boundaries - it's possible that she was mistreated before arriving to us. It's also possible that pairing her with a kitty friend could help, as nipping can be a "single-kitten" behavior mitigated by socialization with other kittens.
