Apricot is a gorgeous, 18 month old, Staffordshire Terrier mix, weighing only 47lbs. She plays well with her foster brother and loves everyone she meets, young and old. Apricot can be weary of new 4-legged friends, so patience and slow introductions may be necessary.
Apricot is very smart and eager to please. She walks well on a Hermes-Sprenger collar. She is very treat motivated and more than willing to practice commands. She is housebroken, uses a doggy door and is crate trained.

Apricot is fully vetted, HW- and on monthly flea, tick & heartworm preventative. She would make a wonderful addition in many households.

Meet Aster! If you are looking for a dog who will adore you, be loyal, and just cuddle, then Aster may be the dog for you.
This handsome one year old terrier mix is one fun doggie. He is super smart and knows all basic commands.
Aster loves people and his favorite thing is to be with them. He is truly mister personality. He is good with both adults and kids and takes treats very softly from your hand.
In addition, Aster always wants to please his people. His foster family relates that he is kennel trained, potty trained, and a great foster dog. He loves to ride in the car and go with his family on lake outings.
Aster enjoys chasing balls, going for walks and just chilling out with his family. His foster mom describes him as a people centered dog. If he has his family, he is very content to just be near them.
Aster does well with non alpha dogs and although he is not dog aggressive, he would do best in a home with a submissive/non alpha dog or as an only dog. Aster will need a yard with a wooden fence, and no apartments please due to his breed.
Aster is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative.

Introducing Austin! This 18 month old Anatolian Shepherd is a 78 pound fluffy teddy bear. His favorite thing is to be with people. He just leans into you for pets and hugs. He was a great sport when getting his photos taken and enjoyed being the center of attention.
Austin was owner released by a family who had too many dogs. He is young so will need some training which GAP can help provide.

Meet Bambi! Our very sweet but scared senior lost her home at 8 years old.
She is kennel trained and goes into her kennel at events very well and is potty trained. She would make a great dog for a retired person Who just want a companion to hang out around the house with.
Bambi is very calm and not a big barker.
She walks very well on a leash and would be fine in a home with a yard or even a condo or townhouse.

Say hello to Bow! He is a super friendly 6 month old puppy who knows his basic commands, is crate trained and loves to learn. He does well with other dogs and is working on potty and leash training.
Bow currently weighs 40 pounds and we think he will grow into a medium size dog around 50 to 55 pounds which is a great size.

Brighton is as pretty as her name sounds. This girl loves people and was such a good sport when we were dressing her up in pearls. She seemed to enjoy the attention and sat like a lady for her pix.
We do not know her past, but we do know she is a social girl and loves people. She can walk on a leash and with some practice will have it down perfectly. She can sit and gently take treats from your hand.

Meet Bruno! This amazing American Staffordshire Terrier is such a handsome and good natured dog. He will quickly become your best friend after a few minutes of attention.
He enjoys car rides, play time outside, and cuddling with his favorite person.
He came into the shelter as a stray, but he has definitely been someone’s pet in the past. We are seeing this more often, and it breaks our heart for these sweet dogs who do not understand why they are left homeless and alone in the shelter.
Bruno is very smart and appears to be potty trained.
He is not very tall but is a big hunk of muscles and weighs around 60 pounds. Bruno deserves an owner who will make a lifetime commitment to him.

Meet the best Buck you could ever have! Buck made a big impression when he went to the vet for the first time. He walked in friendly and unafraid with tail wagging. Everyone there fell in love with his fun and cute personality. He is quite the social doggie. He meets and greets everyone he meets with a cute smile and a happy wiggly body. When you come home after a long day’s work, rest assured you will always be greeted with pure joy by Buck who will make you feel loved and very appreciated.
Buck enjoys playing with other dogs at the shelter and being in the play yard with his toys, but this young guy needs a home.
Buck, a cute black terrier mix with white trim, is a great size at 51 pounds fully grown. He will make an amazing companion dog for anywhere you want to take him. He will not disappoint.

Please meet sweet and elegant tuxie-girl Daisy.
She is such a pretty girl, and her fur is so soft and silky.
She is playful and curious, likes to talk and tell you about her day. She has a cute, dainty meow and a gentle demeanor and loves attention.
Daisy and her gray tabby/white tuxie brother Duke were sadly found living as abandoned strays, as young teenager kitties. They were born around January 2023.
While it’s not a requirement, it would be nice to see them adopted together.
Daisy is spayed, UTD rabies and fvrcpdistemper vaccinated, dewormed, kept on monthly flea prevention, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped. Adoption fee is $125.00 to cover vetting expenses.

Meet Dash! This young Husky/Shepard dog mix was the victim of divorce and owner surrendered to the Euless shelter. Dash is 15 months old, 47lbs, fully vaccinated, neutered and heartworm negative. He has a lot of energy as you would expect from a young dog of his breed and would make a great running or hiking partner. He enjoys car rides and would be a great sidekick on weekend adventures. Dash needs a little leash training, but learns quickly and is very smart. He’s dog friendly and loves going to doggie daycare. Dash is the kind of dog that easily becomes a member of the family. Due to his energy level and size, home without small children or frail individuals would be best and would benefit from a fenced in yard.

Are you looking for an active, beautiful and talented dog with lots of potential? Then you need to meet our Demi! She is a stunning two year old black shepherd mix who loves to play ball, run, chew on her bones, and hang out with people.
Demi recently attended an AKC Fastcat Race in Austin with a trainer and ran 20.99 MPH! This was her first race, and she knew exactly what to do and truly wanted to catch the lure and win. What a smart and talented doggie!
Demi will also make an excellent travel companion because she did great on her first big road trip and impressed all who met her.
Demi would make a fantastic running partner, agility dog, or hiking buddy.

Meet our own sweet and very special Diva! This very special terrier mix is such a fun girl. She loves to play and velcros herself to people. If you want a cuddle bug this is your girl.
Did we mention she is also very smart? Diva is house trained, kennel trained and knows all basic commands. Diva is almost a year old and a perfect size at 40-45 pounds. She loves a good squeaky toy, eats her veggies and prefers to be inside. She walks well on a leash and loves car rides. Her birthday is April 4, 2023.

Hi. Meet Draco! This very friendly and human loving dog is looking for a forever home. He lost his when his owner was incarcerated. Poor Draco had no idea why he found homeless. This very sweet dog was found locked in an apartment after 7 days of being alone. A Good Samaritan took him to foster and only has good things to say about him.
Draco is four years old and weighs around 70 pounds. He is good with both kids and adults. We are not sure how he is with other dogs at this point, but he has shown no aggression to dogs he has been a around.

Please meet handsome, gray/white tabby tuxie and very smart Duke kitty.
He loves attention and being petted. Chin and back scratches are his favorite. He also enjoys playing with you with his favorite wand toy.
He is a social and curious boy. If you close a door on him…. he sits outside the door and will be waiting for you to come from the room to join him.
Duke thinks of himself as a masculine kitty, so he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. He is not a fan of being carried around like a baby. For this reason, Duke prefers a calm home and family where his humans will understand he loves attention but likes the secure feeling of his four paws being on the ground.
Duke and his black/white tuxie sister Daisy were sadly found living as abandoned strays. They were born around January 2023. While it’s not a requirement, it would be nice to see them adopted together.
Duke is neutered, UTD rabies and fvrcpdistemper vaccinated, dewormed, kept on monthly flea prevention, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped. Adoption fee is $125.00 to cover vetting expenses.

He recently completed his heartworm treatment, and the vet says he is doing great with no damage done to his heart. He is now a very healthy two year old.

Meet Gus! Looking for a very handsome Rottie with a terrific personality and the looks to match? Then you must meet our guy Gus.
He is truly a gentle dog in a big body. He absolutely loves people and has shown no aggression to other dogs at the shelter.
He is definitely a smart dog and loves playing in the play yard with the volunteers. Gus appears to know his basic commands and we think he is around 2 years old.
Gus is just a big teddy bear who would thrive in a home, and we hope he gets one soon.
Gus does have the beginning of heartworms, but no damage yet to his heart and lungs. Trinity GAP will pay for his heartworm treatment as soon as he gets a home or foster. He weighs 67 pounds and is waiting for someone to come rescue him.

Harley is approximately 3 years old and was found living outside. It’s sad that he was someone’s pet, but they decide they no longer wanted him, and left him behind when they moved. So, he had no choice but to fend for himself and become a community cat.
We aren’t sure what happened to his tail, but we do know at one time he had one and now it’s missing. After taking some time from being outside and to get healthy, Harley now just wants to meet the person who will love and adore him for the rest of his life.
Harley loves and craves attention that he was denied for far too long. He loves his belly rubbed and he loves to cuddle.

Harper came into the shelter three years ago and were adopted. Sadly they lost their home when the owner had health problems and had to return her to the shelter.
She was adopted to a family who loved her but when the family lost their home due financial problems, Harper is again homeless.

Meet our newest big boy, Hunter! This big handsome hunk weighs in at 99 pounds and is 18 months old. He appears to be a flat coat retriever/Labrador retrieve mix. You really need to meet him to appreciate his beauty which is matched only by his extremely sweet personality.
Hunter is playful but not overly hyper. He loves to be with people and appears to be good with other dogs. He was owner surrendered with a younger puppy when the original owner did not pick them up from relatives where they were temporarily staying.
Hunter is going to need someone who can spend time with him and continue his training. He is a very smart dog, and will be a joy to anyone who is lucky enough to adopt him.

Meet June Bug. This super sweet four year old spayed female is ready for her forever home.
She really needs 2024 to be a much better year for her.
June Bug was taken to the Everman Shelter the first of November after three other dogs attacked her. One of her front legs was badly injured. A wonderful sponsor stepped up and got her emergency care. Now after two months of recovering, she is now ready for a foster or forever home.
June Bug is an absolutely wonderful loving dog who adores people. However, due to the attack, she does not like other dogs but is working with a trainer on her fears.
June Bug is a little bully mix at only 46 pounds. She loves car rides and is kennel and potty trained.

Meet our sweet Lady Bug! When we first met Lady Bug in the shelter several months ago, you could see life had not been easy. She had obviously had a couple litters of puppies and her eyes were so sad. She looked totally defeated. However, she was such a good girl and let us exam her teeth, paws, and brush her coat. You could see she only wanted to be loved and would easily bond with people.
Lady Bug loves to sunbath on mild sunny days on an outdoor bench with a chew toy or good bone. If you want her to be more active, she loves playing a game of tug with anyone who will indulge her or fetching balls. She also enjoy walks and anytime spent with people.
Lady Bug is a four year old Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs around 55 pounds. She is potty trained, totally vetted and ready for a home for the holidays. Lady Bug will require a home with a 6’ wooden fence. She would do best as an only dog because she can be dog selective. When introduced to cats, she had no reaction, so we would introduce to cats cautiously as per personality of the cat.

Meet our newest Luke. This Rhodesian Ridgeback/Blackmouth Cur mix is a big boy who found himself at the shelter when his owner passed away. There was no family to step up for Luke, so he is stuck at the pound. This is so sad and unfair for a dog who does not understand why he is now homeless or where his beloved owner has gone.
Luke loves people and always has a big smile on his face. He has shown no aggression to other dogs and appears to be very genial to others. Luke walks well on a leash and we think he is potty trained.
Luke is a good looking dog, but at 95 pounds, could use to lose about 10 pounds. He would be a great dog for someone wants a dog who is already trained to be a great companion. He is neutered and up to date on shots.

I’m Luna and I’m a brilliant multi tasker. I love to go on a walk and play ball but I also love to cuddle. I love a good belly rub. I love to run around and play especially with dogs my size. Meet sweet and sassy, Lupe! Lupe is a 3-month-old German Shepherd mix that was rescued from a bad home situation with her sisters, Olive and Eloise. With her bouffant hairdo and her jet-black face, Lupe is so strikingly beautiful! She is such a happy puppy. She absolutely loves it in her foster home with 4 other big dogs. Meet our Magnus. This very special 2 year old American Bully/Boxer mix has an absolutely wonderful personality. He does great with other dogs and loves everyone he meets.
Magnus came into the shelter as a stray, and no one came to pick him up. It is definitely their loss because he is such a good dog. Magnus weighs 62 pounds and is a very handsome dog with a big smile and a wiggly bobbed tail butt like most boxers.
He enjoys playing in the yard and his time outside of the kennel. Sadly at the shelter, a lot of his time is spent in the kennel, so er need a foster or adopter to take him home.
Geoffrey loves his toys, chasing balls, and spending time with people.
He is truly a fun dog who urgently needs a home for the holidays.

Meet Margo! What a darling and well behaved 10 month old. She is just a joy according to her foster. Margo is a small/medium girl who currently weighs 25 pounds, and should max out at 30 pounds.
She has the cutest face and tilts her little head when she hears a squeaky toy. She can walk on a leash, loves to ride in the car, and has good doggy manners.

Meet Matilda she is a 10 to 13 week old mix puppy of all the good stuff we believe she is a hound lab bulldog mix . She is the sweetest, most lovable puppy that adore dogs, cats and kids. She is mastering puppy and crate training, and learning new things every day. She’s eager to please and Smart as they come.

Mattie is a very sweet white and brown tabby cat. She is about 5-1/2 years old. Mattie was rescued from a shelter because she was too frightened to place into adoption. Mattie is a very unique girl in that she is a pan leukopenia survivor. Pan leukopenia (FPV, also known as feline distemper) has no prescribed treatment and the survival rate is dismal. Mattie was lucky in that she was already an adult cat, and that her foster recognized symptoms that can be confused with other diseases. The good news is that once cured, she will no longer need any treatment, nor can she catch it again, if exposed.
With no cure, it took supportive care such as IV Fluid treatments and antibiotics to make her comfortable. This daily interaction of care made her welcoming to human touch and kindness. During her treatment she lost her shyness, found out that she loved being touched and petted, and lastly got to spend her days with other kitty playmates once she was no longer contagious..
Mattie’s other supporter was another cat who has since passed away with cancer. We know that Mattie would prefer the company of another female, or two, hoping that one might be agreeable to become her best friend. My name is Max! My foster dad saved me. I am so grateful and ready for a new home.
You can read what he says about me below. Hope you want to meet me because I want a home so much. Woof!!! Max is approximately 3-6 years old. He is a mixed Shepard. He is a sweet boy who is good with older children over 12 Good with dogs his size or by himself. He is crate and potty trained. He really enjoys walks and playing with his toys. We found Max roaming the streets of Houston, and we took him in and cleaned him up. He is heart worm positive but going through a holistic approach. When we brought Max into our home he was 15-20 pounds under weight. He is missing his front middle teeth but has no issues eating. We think this was a result of abuse or the life he had to live on the streets. From what we have seen, he has had a very rough start to life.

Mia is a SUPER sweet approximately one and a half year old 30 lb. border collie/rat terrier mix dog with the personality of an angel. She is muscular, yet petite, young, very sweet, very smart and an absolute LOVE BUG. She is extremely well behaved, housebroken and kenneled trained and Mia will ‘go potty’ on command!! She is perfect in the house by herself (she does have a doggie door), doesn’t chew anything and also sleeps with us all night, excusing herself during the night to ‘go potty’. She loves cuddling with you in bed and enjoys some playing in the morning.
She LOVES going to the dog park and runs and barks and runs and barks at the other dogs. She is a border mix so she has a lot of energy. She goes to the dog park every day with her foster mom to get some of that energy out. She races at top speed chasing dogs outside the fence line, birds, drones, anything that is moving, she is a bullet to try and get it. Mia would truly love to have a family with another very active dog or a daily trip to the dog park to run and play. Because of her energy level, her wonderful agility, ability to jump high and desire to please, her foster mom thinks she would be a fantastic agility dog!! She loves chasing other dogs and being chased and playing with the other dogs. If you have an active, full of energy pup looking for a friend, she might be perfect for you. She does great with both small and larger dogs. She likes to fetch in the house and will often put the toy in your lap or between your legs to encourage you to throw it. But at the dog park she is all about the other dogs. She is completely chill at home, but really needs some high energy chasing/playing time to use up some of her border collie power!!
She listens very well and will be easy to train too as she wants to please! She has been going to obedience school and knows how to sit patiently for her dinner, she also knows sits, heel, down, and stay. She has four perfectly socked feet, a smidge of white at the tip of her tail, and sweet and intelligent eyes. She is fully grown and weighs in at about 30 lbs. She is so funny as she can fall asleep standing up. LOL! She is absolutely lovely, young, good energy without being annoying, loves everyone and would be happy with a family of her own. Miss Kitty was surrendered to the shelter on 2/24/24 because her owner was moving out of the country and could not take her with him. She is around 10 years old, spayed, current on her rabies vaccination, and is declawed on her front paws.
Miss Kitty is currently in a foster home, and her foster mom had this to say:
“I am on my 5th week of fostering Miss Kitty. She has had a tough life and trust doesn’t come easy to her. I have her in a room away from everything. She is calm. Loves her bed with heating pad. Loves kitty cookies. She likes to be petted but in her own way. You must be gentle. There are still areas of her body she does not like to be touched and I suspect due to abuse. She was a mess when we got her. We had her shaved and cleaned and that has helped quite a bit. She is 10 years old and quite frankly a cranky old lady. She still has a lot to give as far as love and companionship but ONLY with the right person. She doesn’t like change so wherever she ends up it will take her a few days to adjust. I don\'t recommend any home with children or other pets. I know that narrows the field for her, but she requires a special home. Her human has to be out there somewhere.”

Meet Misty! This one year old staffordshire terrier mix loves people, other dogs and kids.

Misty is a perfect size at 37 pounds. Sadly she has been very let down by people so far in her young life. She was originally adopted out of the NRH shelter as a puppy, but owner surrendered to the Euless shelter recently because the family did not have time for her.

Moon and her female housemate Snow (ID #23290) were brought to the shelter together on 4/23/24 when their owner could no longer care for them. Moon is a beautiful tuxedo girl, with gorgeous green eyes. Both of them are a little scared due to the new faces, smells, and sounds at the shelter, but they are getting braver each day with help from shelter staff and volunteers. Moon is about 1.5 years old and is more watchful than Snow. She hangs back at first, but will come out once she is comfortable. Both of them are treat-motivated, so just shake the treat bag if you need to find either one. Moon has been microchipped by shelter staff, but she is not spayed or current with the rabies vaccination. We really hope for Moon and Snow to be adopted together, but we completely understand if this is not possible.
Please come to the shelter soon and meet this sweet girl. If you can offer her a loving and safe forever home, and can keep her indoors, then she is the one for you.

Meet our Morris! This very loving 6 year old was pulled from a horrible hoarding situation. He was extremely emaciated, heartworm positive and had a bad skin infection. He has made a miraculous recovery and is now learning how to be a real doggie.
Morris recently discovered toys and loves to play with squeaky ones to entertain himself. He also loves to play fetch and cuddle in the couch with his foster dad. He is getting along much better now with his foster brothers and sisters.
Morris is also doing very well on going outside to potty and the change in him is amazing.
It is so great to see a dog who has been so neglected and abused make such a remarkable recovery in the care of a loving foster home. He would do best in a home with older kids, no toddlers.

Nova is such a special, sweet girl. Nova is a total nanny dog and loves to be around children. She loves going on morning walks then settles down and has a calm energy during the day. She had a rough start to life and lived in a backyard and was solely used for breeding. She came to us and needed immediate surgery to fix her ears after a male dog fought her and then was left for days with a severe infection. We are slowly introducing her to our male dogs and she hangs around our small female dog all day, she just likes a calm environment. She is crating at night and various times in the day no problem. She would love a family that could take her on errands and out walking and just wants to hang out with her. She walks well on a training collar and goes to training at least twice a week. She is really come so far since she has never been socialized and never been in a house for the last 5 years. Meet Percy, this beautiful 35 pound, 3-year-old Cattle dog mix is fully vaccinated, chipped and ready to find his forever home.
Have you ever met a dog that really listens? Well, Percy does! He is the most obedient dog that I have ever met!!
He knows many words and tricks. Percy has one obsession, the “FRISBEE”!!!!.
He will jump for it, run, twist in the air, catch it and bring it back to you to do it all over again!
Percy is friendly with every dog he meets. . He now lives with 7 other dogs and loves them all!! He also loves his trips to the dog park and rides in the car.
Percy can be left alone in the house and is quiet and gentle. ☺ï¸â˜ºï¸. He is potty trained and will do tricks for treats.
Percy is looking for an active family, who wants to play with him, since he loves to fetch so much.

Pixie is a mellow, female cat with a cute black nose. Many years ago she was discovered outside along with 2 other cats and taken to an animal shelter. She and her older sister were placed into a foster home where her personality blossomed and she learned to live with people.
Pixie remains calm around other cats and people. We feel she would enjoy the company of children and possibly even feel relaxed around adult dogs.
Like so many cats that were not socialized with people as a kitten, Pixie appreciates your attention and especially neck rubs, however she isn’t comfortable being picked up unless you are doing so to have her sit next to you.

Poppy came into the shelter three years ago and were adopted. Sadly she lost her home when the owner had health problems and had to return her to the shelter.

Meet Posh! She’s 11 weeks old & s mix breed puppy, with all the good stuff. We believe she is a Hound, Lab & Bulldog mix. She is the sweetest, most lovable puppy that adore dogs, cats and kids. She is mastering puppy training, and learning new things every day. She’s eager to please and Smart as they come.
Posh loves toys and is so cute when. She carries her toys around the house!
Posh craves attention and loves cuddles.
Posh is working on basic commands, potty training and crate training.
Posh is a foodie who will keep you on a tight schedule to make sure her breakfast is on time.

Meet Rayne, a 45 pound who is looking for her forever home, she wants you not to be fooled by her white muzzle, because she is just about 3 years old.
Rayne was found roaming the streets and not in the best shape, we suspected that she could’ve been pregnant , but after a visit to the vet, they confirmed that is just a phantom pregnancy and it should resolve on its own. The good doctors gave her a bunch of TLC and magic potions, and she is thriving, after she agreed to take the “no more puppies pledge”, she was spayed, and is looking forward to the single life.You would think that Rayne is holding grudges, but no, not her, she is a total love bug, continually snuggling and wagging her tail nonstop, she takes treats ever so gently, and loves all kinds of people, and stuffed toys. Rayne is calm, sweet and so happy.Rayne has been tested with male submissive dogs and has done well, but introductions to new dogs, specially females, should be slow and cautious.
Rayne will need a 6 foot fence yard, because of her size and breed she won’t do well in apartments.
Rayne is looking for a family that will give her the love she craves, and will include her on their activities, whether is a walk in the park or a TV movie night.

Meet RIP. Loyal, Smart and Loving one year old, 40 lbs, cattle dog that is ready to be adopted. RIP has been through so much in his short life, coming from the Ft Worth Animal shelter to a home with a cat, which they figured out he was not a good fit. That\'s when Trinity Gap Rescue found this amazing pup! It was soon after discovered he needed FHO surgery on his hip. He had a surgery to help correct it and has surpassed all the expectations during his recovery. He walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, potty and crate trained. He loves children of all ages but needs some supervision on initial meetings as he is super excited. His foster parents are super impressed how this young pup with a tough beginning has overcome his surgery and is such a great family dog. Meet Rocket Man! Just like the Elton John song, this sweet 2 year old block head American Pit Bull will become one of your favorite things.
Rocket Man came to the shelter as a stray and quickly won the hearts of everyone. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He especially seems to enjoy being with people any chance he gets and is a big cuddle bug. Rocket Man weighs around 60 pounds and appears to know basic commands. Meet our new super star, Sherlock! Just look at that happy smile.
This boy deserves so much better than life has dealt him. He was found tied up to the Euless shelter door in the dark hours of the morning all alone. So sad for such a good boy.
Sherlock is an 18 month old terrier mix with a beautiful brindle color. His favorite thing is to be with people.
He has such a fun and energetic personality.
Sherlock enjoys playing with toys in the shelter play yards and would love a very own home, yard, and toys of his own.
He has shown no aggression around the smaller dogs or puppies at the shelter, but would need to meet new dogs with caution as with all meet and greets. Shelters are stressful, so we really would like to get Sherlock a home or foster soon. He will need a home with a wooden fence due to his size.

He loves to sleep next to you and is good in a kennel during the day when you’re gone.

Usually very good on a leash and is great riding in a car.
He is excited during snack time and waits his turn for his food bowl.
He can sit, shake, lay down and turn.
He is an Anatolian shepherd 50lbs and 6 months old.

Meet Silo! He is an absolutely stunning blue American Pit Bull Terrier. This very friendly 4 year old is both dog and kid friendly. He loves to play but settles down to a big cuddle bug in the house. He is a Velcro dog who will follow you everywhere and is happiest when he is with people.
Although he is kennel trained, his temporary foster leaves him alone all day, and he does not chew anything in the home. He loves his toys, playing with other dogs and being with people.
For such a wonderful doggie, he has had some bad luck in his life, and we need to change that with your help.
His original owner adopted him from a Midland Shelter as a puppy. He now works in the oil fields and dogs were not allowed, so he went to a temporary foster. He then was adopted to a family but sadly they are going through an acrimonious divorce. and Silo is again without a home through no fault of his own.
Silo is a wonderful dog who will make someone a great companion. All he needs is a chance at his forever home. He is a perfect package: potty trained, kennel trained, social, fun, friendly and just the right amount of energy. Did we mention big lover boy and so handsome?

Simon is a loving, playful six month old puppy. He’s doing very well in potty training (only one accident in the house). He’s so smart and already crate trained, and eager to go outside to potty and walks well on a leash. He really loves being outside, playing, chasing balls and basking in the sun. He’s got lots of energy and lots of love to give. Simon does very well with other dogs and all people he meets.
We think Simon may be a Blackmouth Cur and Carolina dog mix. He currently weighs around 45 pounds and should weigh around 60 when fully grown.
Simon is truly a loving and fun doggie who will bring years of joy to some very lucky family. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. His foster family reports he is just super.

Meet our little miracle girl, Siri! She was found near death and taken immediately to the vet. She was suffering from a snake bite, skin infection and malnutrition. After a lot of tender loving care and lots of good food and meds, Siri has made a miraculous recovery. She absolutely loves to cuddle and play with her toys. Her foster mom says she is one of the sweetest dogs she has ever met.
Siri is three years old and totally potty trained. She will also go in her kennel and knows basic commands. She is good with older children, but does need to be tested with dogs. She gets along with some, but not all. We do not know how she would be with cats, so would also need to be tested with them.
Siri weighs around 55 pounds and would make a wonderful family dog or companion dog. She is very smart and so pretty with with unique taupe coloring.
Siri is totally vetted.

Snow and her female housemate Moon (ID #23291) were brought to the shelter together on 4/23/24 when their owner could no longer care for them. Snow has a beautiful white coat, with a gray tabby tail and gray tabby eyebrows. Both of them are a little scared due to the new faces, smells, and sounds at the shelter, but they are getting braver each day with help from shelter staff and volunteers. Snow is about 8 months old and a little braver than Moon. Once she is comfortable, she is friendly, playful, and curious. Both of them are treat-motivated, so just shake the treat bag if you need to find either one. Snow has been microchipped by shelter staff, but she is not spayed or current with the rabies vaccination. We really hope for Snow and Moon to be adopted together, but we completely understand if this is not possible.
Please come to the shelter soon and meet this sweet girl. If you can offer her a loving and safe forever home, and can keep her indoors, then she is the one for you.

Meet our good looking Sorrel! This handsome 12 month old terrier mix is a dog you have to meet. He is fun, social, and good with other dogs. He might be a little energetic for toddlers, so we recommend children over six years.
Sorrel loves to run in his Foster’s back yard and play, but then is ready to cuddle under some blankets and take a good nap.
One of his favorite things is going for car rides. His foster has taken him to many parades and dog events, so he is always up for a road trip.

Please meet pretty, amber-eyed, tigress muted “torbie” (tabby/tortie mix) Suki kitty! She was born around spring of 2022.
She is sweet, gentle and tender-natured. She enjoys companionship and getting care from her humans.
She very much likes soft conversation and attention while being petted. Suki may be a little timid at first when meeting new people, but once comfortable she will be a good loyal friend.
Suki would like being part of a calm, patient and stable family.
Suki was found with her sister Yuki in the outdoor elements, both desperately trying to be good mama kitties while fending for themselves and their tiny kittens.
A Good Samaritan who happened to be disabled tried to help them and the many other community cats in the area, but the cats needed more help than what she could provide.
While the kittens were being placed for adoption, it was found that Suki and her sister Yuki were actually very sweet kitties and needed to find a home as safe pets instead of living life as TNRed community cats.
It’s now time for sweet Suki to find the loving and safe home she deserves. Suki can be adopted as an only kitty or as a pair with her sister Yuki.

Timber is one handsome dog! He is just so sweet and friendly that everyone at the shelter fell in love with him. Timber not only charms all the humans, but he also gets along great with other dogs at the shelter.
He recently went to a foster home and is doing great. Timber is totally potty trained, vetted and is playing with both a small and larger dog at his foster home. He is basically Mr Personality! Timber is 13 months old and 53 pounds, so his age and size are perfect for someone wanting to add a new family member to the family. He is a gorgeous rich red color and so beautiful inside and out.

TUXIE had a home for a few years until family members became alergic to him (Achoo)!! Luckily, he had a Golden Retriever playmate growing up (he is 4). Should you have a dog that loves cats, TUXIE will fit into your household perfectly.

Meet Xena our newest princess. She is definitely Miss Personality. She loves attention and to be petted. If you stop, she will take her paw and touch you to keep petting her. She is definitely one lovable dog.
Xena appears to be a shepherd mix.
She is a very smart dog who knows her basic commands. Xena came in with her friend, Zelda, and no one claimed them. This is so sad for her because she is such a good doggie and does not understand why she is locked up in a shelter.
Xena got a weekend break with a temporary foster. This was very good for her because we found out she is potty trained and goes into the kennel easily. Xena needs a little leash training but will make the right person a fantastic pet.

Please meet pretty, green eyed Yuki kitty. She is a very pretty, white-with-brown-spots, Turkish Van breed mix girl. She was born during spring of 2022.
She is sweet, gentle, good-natured and is curious about her surroundings. She enjoys companionship and attention from her humans. She very much likes social conversation and petting.
She may be a little timid at first when meeting new people, but once comfortable she will be a good loyal friend. Yuki would like being part of a calm, social and stable family.
Yuki was found with her sister Suki in the outdoor elements, both desperately trying to be good mama kitties while fending for themselves and their tiny kittens.
A Good Samaritan who happened to be disabled tried to help them and many other community cats in the area, but the cats needed more help than what the volunteer was capable of giving.
While their kittens were being placed for adoption, it was found that Yuki and her sister Suki were actually very sweet kitties and needed to find homes as safe pets, instead of living life as TNRed community cats.
It’s now time for sweet Yuki to find the loving and safe home she deserves. Yuki can be adopted as an only kitty or as a pair with her sister Suki.
Yuki is spayed, UTD rabies and fvrcp distemper vaccinated, dewormed, kept on monthly flea prevention, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped. Adoption fee is $100.00 to help cover vetting expenses.

Meet Zelda! She is an absolute cuddle bug! Zelda’s favorite thing is to have her bell rubbed and cuddle with her people. Everyone at the shelter fell in love with her because of her fantastic personality.
Zelda weighs around 80 pounds and is a terrier mix. She does not realize how big she is, so thinks she is a lap dog. Zelda loves to hang out on a couch & get belly rubs. Her big smile is so infectious that she makes everyone around her smile.
Zelda is a gorgeous brownish/red color that you need to see in person to appreciate her beauty. She can walk well in a leash but is a big girl, so may need some training on not pulling when excited.

Meet our sweet Zoey girl! She is 100% love bug in need of a home.
Zoey was rescued by animal control when she was found running in traffic on Hwy 10 in Euless. She gladly jumped into the truck to avoid being killed.
When we first met her, she was shaking, scared, and traumatized.
She is doing much better now and has come out of her shell. She loves everyone she meets. Zoey does well with most dogs as long as their energy does not overwhelm her. She would do best with a calmer dog.
She was a very good girl while getting her bath by the GAP girls at the shelter and loved the towel rub afterwards. She loves treats and belly rubs, but we don’t think she has ever had a toy. She did not know what to do with one when we gave it to her.
Zoey weighs 52 pounds, and is up to date on shots.
