Special adoption considerations: Herman must go to an experienced dog owner. Herman also needs to be the only dog in the home.

Hello, world!  My name is Herman.  The humans here say that I am a Lab/Shepherd mix.  I am a young, energetic boy looking for a family to love.  I am very smart and am hoping to find a home where I will get a chance to go to school to learn cool tricks and also how to be a well-mannered dog.  Since I am a young boy, I will also need a family who is able and willing to make sure that I get plenty of exercise.  And also I would love my very own bed.  Or, I can share yours if you don't mind a little wiggling and a lot of kisses.

Herman would do best in a home where he is the only dog and someone is around a lot.  He hates being left alone.  Herman needs his humans to be willing and able to work with him to help build his confidence and social skills. 

Like most shelter dogs, Herman may need a refresher on housetraining.
