“Hello there, I’m Fog, a 1 year old neutered male goldendoodle or labradoodle. Before you jump the gun based solely on my breed, please take a minute to read about my personality and decide if I’m the right pup for you. I was originally found running stray and was very scared when I first came to the shelter. Slowly, with the help of staff and volunteers, I began to trust. They soon realized there was an affectionate, friendly dog underneath all that shaggy hair. After patience and a new haircut I’m feeling much better, and I’m ready to find my forever home. I can be wary of strangers, so my ideal owner would understand that I might take time to warm up to new people. For that reason, I should not go to a home with young children. I am nervous meeting new dogs, and do best with calm dogs that ignore me and let me warm up to them on my own terms. I am very curious about cats, but could possibly live with a confident cat who is used to dogs.
