From the Foster:  Winnie is a perfect sized dog with a perfect personality! She is a great mix of being playful and snuggly couch potato. She gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a dog friend to play and wrestle with. She loves to play (and then snuggle when she's done)! She'll play with dog toys, but she really loves to play with my resident dog. Winnie is a bit of a chewer, but as long as she has had proper toys around, she goes for those. She's all around a great dog. She is happiest when she is around her people. She likes to follow me around the house and watch what I am doing. She would love to be in a home where someone is around more often than not.

Winnie does have separation anxiety that has gotten better with time. She is first vocal in her kennel but settles down with time. She would do best in a home without shared walls because of this. She is also a great candidate for doggy daycare which would help with the separation anxiety. She hasn't had any potty accidents in the house when she's been let out on a schedule. She does have the quirk that when I get home for the day and let her out to potty, she won't leave the sliding glass door. Its her separation anxiety taking over because she is just so happy I'm home. If I go stand outside with her, she'll run and do her business. If I don't, she won't go potty and there is a risk of a potty accident inside.

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
