Hello, my name is Diamond and I'm a 40 pound, female, three-year-old boxer bulldog mix looking for my furever home. I was at a scary shelter and I'm not sure how I got there. The people ware pretty nice and I made some doggie friends, but it was really cold and loud. Sometimes my friends and I talked about how great it would be to find a furever home and people who will love us furever and ever. That would be such a dream come true!

Now I'm at a great foster home, but I'd love to have a person or family of my very own!

I've heard that at a furever home you get a nice soft dog bed with some fun toys and some yummy treats. At a furever home you get snuggles and kisses and lots and lots of pats. Sometimes you even get to go to the dog park and on long walks to places like a beach or the mountains. It sounds too good to be true! I just can't wait!

At my furever home I'll try to be the best girl I can. I'd really like to go to obedience school to learn my manners. I know it's very important to be polite and well-behaved. I want my furever people to be able to take me every where with them! I just love other dogs and people. I'm also great with my human foster sibling who can be a bit rambunctious at times. I haven't met and cats yet, but I'm willing to give it a try.

Are you willing to take a chance on me? I'll make it worth you're while, I promise!

FOSTER UPDATE: I wanted to let you know a little more about her since she's opened up with us. Her and Gizmo (our dog) have an awesome time together, and play constantly! She loves to cuddle up on the bed or couch with you, but also does great in the crate. She loves squeaky balls, and anything she can chew on. She's very obedient and responsive to commands. Gentle with babies and other kids, and loves everyone she meets.

Her and Gizmo are in love! Well I mean she takes things from him and he doesn't care a bit. She's doing much better with house training and on walks. She is very tolerant of Jacob, our three year old, and he is a lot to handle. She loves squeaky toys, playing with Gizmo and snuggling! Her new favorite toy is a squeaky snake that her and Jacob play with all around the house. She loves all bones and her kong.

Like most shelter dogs, Diamond may need a refresher on house training. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our  Adoption Questionnaire  and email it to   Kristen at kristenn@luckydoganimalrescue.org .
