Approximate Weight: 25 lbs

Currently Living at: In DC area boarding facility

Special adoption considerations: Caution on apartments / condos - beagles can be loud!  We are not sure about Nutmeg yet though! Nutmeg needs to go to a home with a second dog because she is a very shy little girl!

As a gorgeous beagle of about 25 pounds and estimated to be a little over a year old, I can't tell you how happy I am to be in DC!  Such an exciting place!  Now all I need is a forever home!! I'm a young girl - I'm out of the puppy stage but I still would value some structure and training.  I love playing with other pups so dog parks would be a great add to my day! 

Nutmeg is good with other dogs, we haven't tested her with cats or kids yet but if you are interested, we can get her tested. Like most shelter dogs, Nutmeg may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

Nutmeg is a very shy little girl, and needs to go to a home with a second dog to show her the ropes and teach her to be the happy confident dog that she can be. If you have a second dog, she could be the perfect pup for your furry family!
