Hi, my name is Nixon and I need to find that special person who will turn my frown upside down. You see, I’m homeless, but I know I deserve so much better. I'm a gentle, loving boy who loves attention, affection, and especially back-scratches! I'm a big 'ol lap cat who will just treasure every purr-filled moment with you as we relax on a sofa or I greet you at the end of a long day. I know some people come in focused on looking for a very young kitten, but please keep in mind a few things: first, we all equally deserve wonderful homes, no matter our age; second, healthy indoor cats like me routinely live 20 years so I have tons of love to give. Some people come into the shelter and only ask "who do I want the most?" but there are those special people who also ask "who needs me the most?" Well, I do.

Adoptable Nixon needs a forever home! This little boy is no joke in the snuggle department. He has equal parts energy and patience.  He is full of life, love, and would be a puuurfect addition to your home!
