MALUHIA NEEDS A FOSTER OR A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Approximate Age: 9-10 weeks as of 1/16/17    SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 10 lb as of 1/16/17

Has Lived With:   other dogs

Currently Living at: A scary shelter in rural North Carolina. Maluhia can't wait to come to DC and meet his forever family!

Special adoption considerations:  Young puppy, frequent potty breaks and socialization needed, commitment to neuter by 6 months.

Maluhia a super sweet little puppy boy who is very excited about finding his forever family! Maluhia loves dogs, but has not been tested around cats or kids yet. If you have either, let us know and we can find out more! Maluhia is a gentle little soul who loves to play, nap and is an amazing cuddler! As he grows he will need longer walks and lots of puppy training and socialization to help him grow into a confident young man! 

Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to come multiple times a day.

Maluhia is not old enough to have had all of his vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, she is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.   

Due to his young age, Maluhia has not yet been neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 5/15/17. We will require proof of neuter.

Like most puppies, Maluhia will need to work on his housetraining. He will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!
