WALTON NEEDS A FUREVER HOME!!

If you are viewing Walton's bio on Petfinder, please click below for more information.

Name:   Walton       Best guess as to breed:  Bulldog mix

Best guess as to age:  5 months as of 5/5

Approximately Weight:  30 lbs

Has lived with: dogs, kids

Currently Living at:  DC foster

Special adoption considerations: very young, no 9-5ers unless proof of twice a day dog walker

Hello, my name is Walton and I'm a 5 month old, 30 pound, male, bulldog mix puppy. My brothers and sisters and I were so happy to come to DC to look for our furever families. I was adopted by a really nice family, but turns out they are allergic to me. Now I'm back with Lucky Dog and looking for my furever home.

I'm very playful and curious, just like a puppy should be! I loved to play with my human brother and sister and was very gentled with them. I also got along great with any dog I met. I need to start puppy kindergarten soon so I can keep growing up into a well mannered pup.

I'm still pretty little, so I'll need some help learning the ropes. I can do it though, I'm really smart and I just want to make you happy and proud of me.

Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to stop by, multiple times a day.

Due to his young age, Walton has not been neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 6/1/17!

Like most puppies, Walton will need to work on his housetraining. Walton will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of transport from the shelter and routine vetting. If you are interested in adopting, please download our  Adoption Questionnaire  and email it to   Kristen at kristenn@luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantee about age, breed, or temperament.
