FOSTER UPDATE: Amanda is super sweet and snuggly. She is doing great on her potty training, loves to play outside with other dogs and enjoys watching tv as well as staring at her reflection in the mirror! She is still learning how to walk on a leash and does much better on a quieter street without much traffic, she is also much braver on the leash when she's being walked with another dog. We do believe that other dogs help to build Amanda's confidence so she will need a buddy to help show her the ropes. Amanda is eager to please and would make a great pet for a more relaxed household!
Amanda is a super sweet little puppy girl who is very excited about looking finding her forever family! Amanda loves dogs, but has not been tested around cats or kids yet. If you have either, let us know and we can find out more! Amanda is a gentle little soul who loves to play, nap and is an amazing cuddler! As she grows she will need longer walks and lots of puppy training and socialization to help her grow into a confident young lady!
Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to come multiple times a day.
Like most puppies, Amanda will need to work on her housetraining. She will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog! The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. * If you are interested in adopting, please FIRST download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Emily Jagdmann at email@example.com!
