Hi, I'm Jynx! You may be wondering what type of dog I am. I have told that I am very unique. My proud lineage includes Beagles (that's where the adorable face comes from) and Australian Shepherds (to which I attribute my energy level). Jynx may be small but he's a man in motion. It took several attempts to get him to sit still long enough to take these photos. Imagine how quickly he will want to move at the dog park!

At three, Jynx is passed the bouncy puppy stage but will still need long walks and maybe some running or other activity to help him burn energy. Doggie daycare might be a good option for Jynx; he loves other dogs and is very playful. Mental stimulation is also good for dogs so break out those puzzle toys. Scent detection (aka "nose work") would be a wonderful activity for Jynx; what Beagle wouldn't enjoy being told to start sniffing?

Only 21 lbs. Jynx won't take up much room or eat you out of house and home. Jynx will fit in well with many different households due to his cheerful Beagle personality and smart Aussie Shepherd instincts. Just keep him busy and give him lots and lots of love.

Like most shelter dogs, Jynx may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained. Jynz loves hanging out with other dogs but has not yet been tested with cats or kids.
