Has Lived With: Other dogs

Currently Living at: Shelter in South Carolina; Felicity needs a foster - or forever home! - when she arrives in D.C.!

Meet gorgeous mama, Felicity ! This sweet 1 year old retriever mix, weighing in at approximately 50 lbs., found herself at a shelter through no fault of her own. She and her puppies were rescued in the nick of time, and now she's on her way to D.C. this weekend in the hopes of finding a loving family to give her a second shot at a happy life!

As a young and energetic dog, Felicity will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep her happy and healthy. An adopter who works full time would need to commit to having a midday dog walker for her during the week. 

Felicity would benefit from frequent trips to the dog park or even doggie daycare so she can socialize with her canine friends! And of course, upon returning home, she'd love to shower her new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles!

Although Felicity loves people and gets along well with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see her interact with kids or cats yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out! Felicity is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in her doggie manners and be the best dog she can be! 

Felicity will make a great companion and family member; you won’t regret opening your heart and home to this sweet lady!

Like most shelter dogs, Felicity may need a refresher on house-training. She is likely crate trained.
