Happy Boy Needs a Home!

Come meet ARTHUR and other great adoptable dogs at this weekend’s events:

Sunday (July 22) from  12- 3 pm at the Rockville Petco (1507 Rockville Pike Rockville ,  MD 20852)

ARTHUR NEEDS A FOSTER OR A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Arthur Breed: Shepherd mix 

Approximate Age: 1.5 years    SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 70 lbs 

Has Lived With: other dogs and kids

Currently Living at: DC boarding 

Meet Arthur! This handsome boy is a 1.5 yr old shepherd mix , weighing in at approximately 70 pounds.  Arthur loves kids and other dogs, and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and attention he deserves! Could it be  yours?

Arthur will require an active family that will provide him with plenty of exercise and playtime! He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy.  He would love to go on long walks and hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with plenty of cuddles and kisses!

Although Arthur gets along well with other dogs and kids, we haven't had a chance to see him interact with cats yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out!  Arthur is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in his doggie manners and impress his new family.

Our dog walker met him at boarding, had this review:  "I just walked Arthur and WOW! What a handsome little gentleman! He is crazy well-behaved; I felt like I was walking next to another person! He walked right next to me, like he was heeling, the whole time. I could scratch behind his ears without even reaching while we were walking! And when we got to crosswalks, or even if I just stopped to tie my shoe or something, he would sit right down, usually without even being asked. He’s curious and energetic but still very chill, and he’s an absolute beauty, too. He is a truly wonderful pup and we had a great time on our walk!"

Arthur has been living in a home and was house-trained there, may need a refresher on house-training.  Arthur hopes you will want to take him home with you!
