DEXTER NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Approximate Weight: 10 lbs as of 2/7/17

Special adoption considerations: Young puppy, frequent potty  breaks  and socialization needed, commitment to neuter, additional vaccinations needed.  

Meet Dexter! This outgoing 8-week-old shepherd mix boy is as sweet as can be! At about 10 pounds, he is very kind, energetic and affectionate toward everyone he meets! Although Dexter gets along well with dogs, we haven't had a chance to see him interact with kids or cats yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll find out more.

Dexter has a playful, active and curious personality and will need mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis. 

Dexter is still a puppy, and he will need a committed owner to provide training and exercise to be a well-behaved dog.

Dexter is not old enough to have had all of his vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the  adopter , to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Due to his young age, Dexter has not been neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the  adopter , to ensure that this is done no later than 6/16/17!

Like most puppies, Dexter will need to work on his housetraining. Dexter will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!
