Could this pup be THE ONE?

WANDA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Wanda    Breed: Lab Mix

Best Guess of Age: 10 months (as of 4/16/2017)     SEX: Female

Best Guess of Weight: About 45 pounds

Has Lived With: Other dogs

Currently Living at: Foster home in DC

Special Adoption Considerations: Wanda needs to go to a home with an experienced dog owner and a home with no kids and no cats. She also needs  to go to a home that has another dog to help her build confidence and social skills!

Foster update:

"Wanda is a fun, energetic girl who loves having toys and bones to chew on and also loves treats! She will need a good amount of exercise, but after she gets her energy out playing she would also love to curl up on the couch next to you.

She is still learning how to play appropriately with people as sometimes she gets over excited and may mouth, so a home without young children is the best match for her. She will also need to be in a home with another dog who she can play with and learn manners from!

She is perfectly house trained and crate trained (though could benefit from a refresher in her new home). Wanda is a smart pup who has already completed a puppy 1 training class and she would love to take more lessons with her new family - she is very treat motivated! We know you won't be able to resist this sweet-hearted cutie! "

Meet Wanda ! Wanda is 10 months old and about 45 lbs. At her age, Wanda is still growing and learning how to be a well-behaved pup! She will need guidance, training and love!

Wanda is a sweet, happy pup who has spent most of her little life roaming the streets and now can't wait to have a warm bed to call her own. She doesn't know how she ended up on the street but she's dreaming of long walks, trips to the park and cuddling up with you on the couch after work in true  lovable lab mix fashion. Wanda will also love to go on runs and go to obedience class to become a well socialized and super smart dog! Labs are intelligent and athletic, so Wanda will require daily mental and physical stimulation.

Wanda is great with other dogs so she’d be a wonderful addition to an existing pack or great as an only dog!
