Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: SCAREY SHELTER.  FRISBEE NEEDS A FOSTER OR BETTER YET FOREVER HOME!!  

Would you look at this handsome boy! Frisbee is a stunning, two – three year old Border Collie mix, and weighs in around 65 lbs.  He wants nothing more than to be welcomed into a loving home. This adorable guy is looking for someone to take him in and show him how wonderful life can be.  All he wants is to be part of a family, whether that's one person or several. He has lots of love to go around and can't wait to share it with someone.

Frisbee does not know how he ended up in a cold scary shelter but he is dreaming of walks, trips to the dog parks and maybe even doggy daycare, and of course, cuddling up with you on the couch.  He can’t wait to learn new tricks and become the smartest pup on the block.

Like most shelter dogs, Frisbee may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained. Frisbee gets along with other dogs and cats, but we haven’t had a chance to see how he interacts with kids yet, so if you have them just let us know, and we will do our best to find out!     

Frisbee is dreaming of finding a warm and loving forever home! All he needs is a caring and loving person or family he deserves!   Do you have room in your heart and home for a handsome pup like Frisbee? 

Frisbee has tested positive and has been treated for Heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites.  Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they, like every dog, are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.
