Aloha everyone!  My name is Kapua! In Hawaiian, the name Kapua means flower and my foster dad tells me everyday that I am "blossoming like a flower" into a wonderful puppy that will make everyone in your family smile!  I am an adorable 5 month old girl who was found in a puppy pile with my 4 brothers.  The Lucky Dog team found us in a parking lot during their trip to Puerto Rico last month, talk about one Lucky puppy. At about 17lbs, I am very kind, energetic and affectionate toward everyone I meet and it doesn't hurt that I am as cute as can be!

My foster dad says "Kapua is the cuddlest of the whole litter.  She loves other dogs and loves to play but she really enjoys a good cuddle and wants to please!  She is a smart girl and is working on learning sit and down - she loves her treats!!  Kapua needs lots of positive reinforcement and love".

Although I get along well with dogs, I haven't had a chance to live with kids or cats yet.  I will probably be fine with both but will need training like all puppies to adjust. If you have a feline friend, let my Lucky Dog friends know and they can have me tested.

I have a playful, active and curious personality and will need mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis. So if you are looking for a fun-loving puppy that will live an active lifestyle with you then look no farther!!  I am trying to patiently wait for those applications to come pouring in...wiggle...wiggle...wiggle!

Kapua is fully vaccinated and spayed!  She has received all her puppy vaccinations, Bordetella Vaccination and 1 year Rabies.

Kapua is still a puppy, and she will need a committed owner to provide training and exercise to be a well-behaved dog. Like most puppies, Kapua will need to work on her housetraining. She will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!
