Special adoption considerations: Malbec is timid and will need a second dog in his new family to help show him the ropes!  

Would you look at this handsome boy! Malbec is a stunning, 5 month old, Lab/Border Collie mix, and weighs around 29 lbs.  He wants nothing more than to be welcomed into a loving home. This adorable guy is looking for someone to take him in and show him how wonderful life can be.  All he wants is to be part of a family, whether that's one person or several. He has lots of love to go around and can't wait to share it with someone.

Malbec is a shy, sweet tempered, loving pup that will need a second dog around and someone willing to help build his confidence up a bit. The world has been a pretty scary place recently for him. He is hoping to find a forever home with someone to care, cuddle and love him ...forever!

Malbec does not know how he ended up in a cold scary shelter, but he is dreaming of walks, trips to the dog parks, doggy daycare, and maybe even a swim, but of course, he would love cuddling up with you on the couch.  He can’t wait to attend obedience school and grow into a well-socialized, and be the smartest pup on the block.   

Like most shelter dogs, Malbec may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained. Malbec gets along with other dogs and cats, but we haven’t had a chance to see how he interacts with kids, so if you have them just let us know, and we will do our best to find out!     

Malbec is dreaming of finding a warm and loving forever home! All he needs is a caring and loving person or family he deserves!   Do you have room in your heart and home for a handsome pup like Malbec?
