Currently Living at: scary shelter! July needs a foster, or better yet forever, home!

My name is July! I am just the sweetest yellow lab mix, and I love all the people and dogs I meet! I would love to make you my human so we can have a furever bond.

A little more about me: I am about 2-3 years old which means I am likely done growing and out of the initial puppy stage. However, I would love some training so I can do all of the fun activities that other city pups get to do! I like to pride myself on my good looks and 71 lbs weight, and would love to be in a home where I get to spend time exercising outdoors and at dog parks! I hear DC has a lot of great hiking paths which I would love to try out as well! But at the end of the day, I just want someone to snuggle up with. While I have not lived with cats, I did pass my cat shelter test and would likely do well in a home with a resident feline. Additionally, the good people here at Lucky Dog are not sure how I am with kids, but are happy to find out for you!

Somehow I ended up in a scary shelter, but I am ready to make my move to DC and become the best companion you could ask for! If you think we are a perfect match, please let my adoption coordinator know. I look forward to meeting you!

Like most shelter dogs, July may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
