SLADE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Slade    Breed: Beagle Mix

Approximate Age: 8 years     SEX:  Male

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs

Gets Along With: Kids and cats, can be selective with dogs 

Currently Living at:  DC foster

Special adoption considerations: Slade needs to be in a home where he is the only dog present!   

Slade is Looking For: An active family that will provide him with plenty of exercise and playtime! He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy.  He would love to go on long walks and hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with plenty of cuddles and kisses!

What My Foster Says About Me:  Slade is a very kid and family friendly dog, but is overwhelmed by other dogs.  He LOVES to snuggle and would like nothing more than to spend his days on the couch with you.  He is receptive to basic training commands and while he may sneak a treat left unattended, he is not the kind of dog that will grab food from a child’s hand or get in their face.  He has a loud bark but does not howl or bark as much as a typical beagle.  He is pretty lazy, but loves a good walk.

Slade gets pretty excited at events and you'd be welcome to come to the foster's home to meet him in his "natural" environment if you're interested.  Please let us know!

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
