Approximate Age: 1-2 Years     SEX: Male

Approximate Weight: 45 pounds

Has Lived With: Other dogs at the shelter

Currently Living at: Shelter - will be coming to DC soon

Mario is a sweet, happy pup who can't wait to have a warm bed to call his own. He doesn't know how he ended up on the street but he's dreaming of long walks, trips to the park and cuddling up with you on the couch after work. Though Mario is done growing and is out of the crazy puppy stages he will still love to go on runs and go to obedience class to become a well socialized and well mannered pup! Goldens are intelligent and athletic, so Mario will require daily mental and physical stimulation.

Mario  is great with other dogs so he’d be a great addition to an existing pack or great as an only dog! We haven’t had a chance to see him interact with kids or cats yet, so if you have them just let us know, and we’ll do our best to find out! 

Like most shelter dogs, Mario   may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
