Approximate Weight: 54 lbs.

Has Lived With: Other Dogs

Currently Living at: DC Boarding 

Special adoption considerations:  August needs a LOT of exercise, he should go to a home with older kids (over 15) or no kids, and NO CATS - he likes them a bit TOO much (he hasn't hurt them, but he's too playful!)

Hello humans!  My name is  August and I am a friendly, frisky lab/shepherd mix pup looking for my perfect forever family!!! 

I love to play and to have lots of puppy wrestle sessions! I want to be home and be able to go rompin' around my very own yard smelling the pretty spring flowers and maybe chasing a grasshopper or two!  My dream would be long walks, doggy parks, peanut butter kongs and a warm bed to call all mine! 

So what in the name of milkbones are you waiting for....fill out the application and send it to my adoption coordinator!  I am trying to wait patiently...wiggle...wiggle...wiggle!

Like all dogs, August may need to work on his housetraining when he gets to your home and will also need to go to obedience school to grow into a well-socialized dog!
