Currently Living at: Foster home. Pete needs a forever family!

Meet Pete! Pete is a beautiful 9 month old shepherd mix weighing in at about 47 lbs. Like many of our Lucky dogs, we found Pete at a shelter where the clock was ticking and knew we had to do everything we could to save him. 

He will be coming to DC as soon as we can find him a foster or adoptive home!

Pete is great with other dogs and would be a fantastic addition to a doggie family or on his own with a loving active family. He would love trips to the dog park to hang out with his friends and long walks/runs with his family! Since Pete is a young guy, he'll need lots of exercise! 

Pete has not yet been tested with cats, but we can do that if you have a kitty in the house. 

Like most shelter dogs, Pete may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
