Huggable, loveable, kissable Chance needs a home of his own!

Come meet Chance and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Sep 3) from 12-2 pm at the Unleashed by Petco (5400 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22207)!!!!!!

CHANCE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!!

Name: Chance    Best Guess for Breed: Lab Mix

Best Guess for Age: 2 years at of 4/17/17     SEX: Male

Approximate Weight: 50 lbs

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: DC boarding

Special Considerations:  Chance is a big lovable goofball who will do anything for a treat or toy, but because he gets SO excited for his treats he can be a little mouthy so Chance needs to go to a home with no small children.

Chance is a 2 year old Chocolate Lab Mix. He has a super soft coat and loves to play with other dogs all day long. We have not been able to test him with cats or kids yet, but are happy to do that if you need it.

Chance is a sweet, happy pup who has spent most of his little life roaming the streets and now can't wait to have a warm bed to call his own. He  doesn't know how he ended up on the street but he's dreaming of long walks, trips to the park and cuddling up with you on the couch after work! As a life-loving lab, he will require daily mental and physical stimulation.

Chance is an energetic boy so he would definitely be able to keep up on daily jogs, romp around with other dog friends and any adventures you can think of - Chance wants to be by your side! Chance listens extremely well for treats and is learning his basic commands very nicely! He has great attention and will do an awesome job in obedience school for his new family!

Like most shelter dogs, Chance may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.

Chance  has tested positive and will be treated for Heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites.  Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.

The adoption fee for this dog is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Colleen at colleenb@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
