Foster Update:

Cedin is doing great so far! He loves to snuggle (and thankfully he is just the right size to do so! :)) and gets along very well with other dogs. When he isn't snuggled up, he is staying true to his Puerto Rican roots and finding a spot to soak up some sunshine. Cedin is a sweet, happy pup that loves to make new friends, human and canine alike!

He is pretty skinny, and hasn't shown much interest in food so far, although has eaten a bit. I am going to try wet food to see if that is a bit more appetizing to him. He doesn't seem to know any commands (or have any house training), but he is very receptive to listening to instructions. He's got some energy as a young pup but also obviously loves curling up for a couple of naps per day. He did great sleeping overnight. And no signs of that typical "macho" personality that Chihuahua's often have :)

Meet little Cedin !  Cedin  is a handsome guy - about 2 years old and a  Chihuahua Mix  mix, weighing in at a whopping 9.4 lbs - and he can't wait to meet you! He's an island boy, coming from sunny and warn Puerto Rico!

Cedin , though out of the crazy puppy stages, will still need PLENTY of exercise and cannot wait to learn with you DC! He's dreaming of long walks and trips to the dog park in his future and would love to play with new toys, explore the neighborhood and even go to obedience classes to show off just how smart he is! He's counting down the minutes until he can meet your friends, go on trips, and cuddle up with you on the couch after a long day. 

Cedin is good with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. Cedin would do best in a home with no young children. 

Like most shelter dogs, Cedin may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
