Currently Living at: fulltime foster

Hi, my name is William! I am a lovable lab mix who adores people and other dogs, and can't wait to be part of a family.

Here's a little more about me. I am about 11 months old, which means I may still have a bit of growing to do. I have plenty of love to give and would definitely be happy to get some obedience training so I can learn and be able to bond with my people. And I would be the happiest with people that will give me lots of exercise as I have a ton of puppy energy to burn - by taking me on some really nice long walks and runs, or to dog parks where I can make some new friends. I do well with all dogs outside of my home, but cannot live with dogs under 50 pounds in the home. I'm not sure yet how cats fit into my lifestyle, but I would be happy to find out for you, with the help of my friends at Lucky Dog.

Additional information on William:

"William is super handsome and very sweet. He's got typical puppy energy and typical puppy habits. So far when he's been awake he wants to play, and he does use his mouth. He's pretty gentle about it, but he does seem to want to put his mouth around your hand, foot or anything else that might fit. He's going to need lots of chew toys and lots of exercise, including leash-training." - William's overnight foster

"William is the cutest thing! His happy attitude is contagious and he loves loves loves to play. He enjoys running around with other dogs, playing ball, and exploring at the park. He had plenty of energy and put it to good use running at the park! He will need to work on his leash skills, but as such as young and smart boy I am confident he will be perfect on the leash in no time." - Lucky Dog volunteer

Like most shelter dogs, William may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
