Meet Amigo! This handsome boy is a 3 year old lab mix, weighing about 30 lbs.  Amigo is currently in a shelter, and he can't wait to come to D.C. and meet his forever family!

Foster update: Amigo is doing great in his foster home.  He is very sweet and happy, and he made himself right at home already! He is very cuddly, loving, and very gentle with his other dog siblings.  He doesn't pull too much on the leash, but like most shelter dogs could definitely use a refresher on leash training.  Amigo has some energy to burn and would love love love to be your walking buddy! PS: Apparently, he is the sweetest little snoring when napping on the couch!!

Like his names says, Amigo is ready to be your best pal and make lots of friends at the dog park.  At 3, his puppy days are over, but he still has plenty of energy for long walks.  Amigo would love to be your walking buddy or running partner.  With his energy, he will need more than walks, looking for lots of playing and running. On the other hand, this sweet boy has learned with age the importance of vegging out on the couch and long naps in the sun.

As a social lab, Amigo gets along well with other dogs.  He has not been tested with cats yet, but is open to learning and training with you!

Get to know your new best bud, Amigo!!! Fill out and submit an application for this sweetheart!

Like most shelter dogs, Amigo may need a refresher on house-training. He is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Charlotte at charlottet@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
