Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of 5/2/17     SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 45 lbs

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: Katy is currently living in a DC boarding facility where she gets to play with other dogs all day long!

Special adoption considerations: Because she is a Hound, we would like to caution those who live in apartments as they sometimes like to BAROOO!!

Katy is a sweet 3 year old hound mix that is looking for a new home to rest her head! She has NO idea how she ended up in a shelter, but she's ready to wiggle herself into your heart and home. 

Katy is currently living in a doggy daycare facility where she enjoys playing with other dogs all day - because of this she would do great in a home with other dogs OR she'd also be happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. We are not quite sure how Katy will do with cats or kids yet - but we are happy to find out for you.

Like most shelter dogs, Katy may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
