What A Sweet and Handsome Pup!

PENDLETON NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Pendleton Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix

Best Guess for Age: 10 weeks as of 5/12/17   SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 17 pounds as of 5/12/17

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: DC foster home - Pendleton is looking for his forever home!

Special adoption considerations: Young puppy, frequent potty breaks and socialization needed, commitment to neuter by 6 months.

Foster Update: Everyone who meets Pendleton falls in love with him. He is anxious to please and is very curious and very smart! He loves to play fetch! We have not seen any aggression and he is submissive to our other dogs. Initially he would bark frequently, but now that he has settled in, he is not as talkative. He walks well on a leash and loves the water. At our house, he sleeps through the night and is working on potty training. He is a true lover and will make anyone very happy.

Meet Pendleton! This handsome 10 week old boy is as cute as can be, and at about 17 pounds he is very kind, energetic and affectionate toward everyone he meets! Although Pendleton gets along well with dogs, we haven't had a chance to see him interact with cats or kids yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll find out more.

Pendleton has a playful, active and curious personality and will need mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis.

Pendleton is still a puppy, and he will need a committed owner to provide training and exercise to be a well-behaved dog.

Pendleton is not old enough to have had all of his vaccines. It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Due to his young age, Pendleton has not yet been neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 9/1/17!

Like most puppies, Pendleton will need to work on his housetraining. Pendleton will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Emily Jagdmann at emilyj@luckydoganimalrescue.org!

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament
