Name:  Girl  Best Guess for Breed: Doberman Mix

Best Guess for Age: 1-2 years old as of 5/25/17  SEX: female

Approximate Weight: 38 lbs.

Has Lived With: other dogs 

Currently Living at: SHELTER. Girl needs a foster home, or even better yet, a forever home!

Special adoption considerations: Girl is a sweet but shy lady so we recommend that she goes to a home with a second dog to help bring her out of her shell. She will be best in a home without young children.

Girl is a beautiful 1-2 year old Doberman mix. She weighs about 38 lbs and, because of her age, will fill out a bit but otherwise is done growing. Girl and her sister, Sweetie, were abandoned in a Petsmart parking lot but thankfully our wonderful shelter partners found them and committed to bringing them to the D.C. area  where they can find the loving homes they deserve. 

Girl will need exercise and playtime each day to be a happy and healthy pup. She would love to go on long walks and regular trips to the dog park. After she's tuckered out, Girl loves curling up for a nice nap and belly rub. She can't wait to go to obedience training with her new family so that she can bond with her people and become her very best self!

Girl is good with other dogs so she'll be a great addition to an existing pack. The nice folks at Lucky Dog don't know how Girl is with cats but if you're interested, let us know and we can try to find out!

Like most shelter dogs, Girl may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
