Best Guess for Age: 1-2 years old as of 6/1/17   SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 54 lbs.

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home

Chauncey is a happy, goofy 1-2 year old Lab mix. He weighs about 54 lbs and, because of his age, is done growing.  We don't know how this sweet boy ended up in a shelter but it hasn't dampened his spirits one bit and he can't wait to meet his forever family!

Chauncey will need exercise and playtime each day to be a happy and healthy pup. He would love to go on long walks and regular trips to the dog park. After he's tuckered out, Chauncey loves curling up for a nice nap and belly rub. He can't wait to go to obedience training with his new family so that he can bond with his people and become his very best self! 

Chauncey is good with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. The nice folks at Lucky Dog don't know how Chauncey is with cats, but if you're interested, let us know and we can try to find out!

Like most shelter dogs, Chauncey may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
