Sweet girl needs a furever home!

ZORA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Zora   Best Guess for Breed: Rat Terrier Mix

Best Guess for Age: 9-10 months as of 6/15/17    SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 20 lbs

Has Lived With: Other dogs

Currently Living at: A scary shelter - Zora needs a foster or furever home!

Zora says...Hi there, everyone!  They call me Zora, and they say that I'm just the cutest, sweetest wiggle butt ever!  Do you have room in your heart and home for a pup like me?? I weigh about 20 pounds (not too big), which makes me a perfect size for an apartment, house or condo!!  They say I am probably some sort of rat terrier mix…all I know is that I'm a happy pup and I love to play and get lots of pets.

Don't you think I would look really cute as your new Facebook cover photo, romping around in the sunshine and rolling in the summer grass!?  And how I'd love to snuggle up by you after a long hike.  I just really want to run, play, then snuggle, nap and dream of all the adventures we'll have together.  I would just LOVE trips to the dog park and hikes in the woods -- I love to discover new things!

Zora's new person or family will need to make sure she gets lots of socialization and playtime with other dogs and people to keep up the good social skills she has already!  And like all dogs we adopt out, she'll need to go to obedience classes to build a strong bond with her people, and help her become a well behaved companion or family member.  Zora seems to like all the people she meets, and can't wait to wiggle her way into your heart and home.

Like most shelter dogs, Zora may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Christine at christinek@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
