Special adoption considerations:  Prone to over grooming when anxious. 

Luke is an adult domestic short hair cat, weighs approximately 10 pounds, and around 4 years old. FIV/FLeuk negative and has been regularly vetted every 6 months for the last 3.5 years, and is neutered. 

This is a very handsome, sweet, loving, shy guy, but is a bit too stressed out right now in his current home due to the addition of a dog with special concerns. He is currently looking to find a new forever home where he can get the love and attention he needs!

Luke is very wary at first, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes his sweet and affectionate self--going out of his way to sit on your lap and purr like crazy! He can be social, but on his terms, and is typically very gentle. He is also a very active cat with a lot of energy that loves to play, and will playfully swat or nip when he has had his fill. Luke also loves his food...and yours, and will loudly ask for you to share. 

Luke has never been around other cats, but there are no behavioral concerns to indicate he would not get along with other cats. He does get along well with dogs despite his current circumstances, as long as they don't chase him. He is also very well house-trained and is great with kids. Luke would be a wonderful addition to any home.
