Meet Buddy! This one-year-old, 35 lb Whippet mix can't wait to come up to D.C. and find his forever family. He and his sister Rosie were both given up last month but we can't imagine why. This dynamic duo are a sweet a loving pair who are filled with energy. These two couldn't be more friendly and playful. 

Buddy plays great with other dogs and is very polite with cats. Check out his YouTube clip where he couldn't be more curious about kitten companions. He doesn't mind sharing space with other doggy and kitty siblings, or soaking up all the love and affection to himself. This sweetie can't wait to make friends with other puppy pals at the dog park and go on long walks and runs around town. He's also looking forward to enrolling in obedience classes to learn commands, tricks, and how to be a well-behaved doggo.

Like most shelter dogs, Buddy may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
