Currently Living at: Shelter. Twinkle Toes needs a foster, or better yet, forever home!

Hi! I'm Twinkle Toes--an 11-month-old, 32-pound Labrador Retriever mix! And I'm finally coming to the DC area soon to find my forever home -  Isn't that exciting?

They call me Twinkle Toes because I have little splotches of white all over my toes--isn't that cute? My shelter here down South says I'm a very sweet girl, so you can't ask for a nicer girl than me! I am also a YOUNG girl with LOTS of energy, so I sure am looking forward to looooong walks with you, frequent trips to the dog park, and maybe even some splashing around in a wading pool or pond! Doesn't that sound like a great way to pass a hot summer day? And, assuming I get plenty of exercise, I also look forward to crashing out next to you for a nice long nap on the couch afterwards!

I'm not sure how I'll do with cats or kids, but we can find that out when I arrive. Additionally, I sure would love for you to sign me up for some obedience classes so I can learn all my manners and commands, and show you what a good girl I can be.

Like most shelter dogs, Twinkle Toes may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
